Had a great corn day in the valley just west of Portillo ski area. Got 4000' vertical with Santiago locals, we were just able to ski from the car at 7000'. A couple condors flew right by us on our way up, views were spectacular. As we exited, a Canadian and his US girlfriend skied by on a two day traverse from Portillo, which is behind the ridge crest in the photo.

Thinking of heading to Mendoza and Las Lenas soon, hoping to catch the annual early September storm that has not yet arrived.
