I'll post here until the Sept. folder is set up.
Spent Sat. night on the shoulder just S. of the pinnacle, then dorked around on patches in the area. Didn't go over to Sholes based on weather/laziness/reports of large, frozen suncups. Patches we skiied on Sunday morning (mostly E of the ridge) were soft enough, but definitely chattery. Plenty of fun little lines to ski among the mountain goats. It's such a beautiful area that actually skiing in Sept. is just a nice bonus. For the fourth straight year, only August has gone w/o skiing. That month is cursed I tell ya!
