TAY Community Guidelines
« on: 03/09/17, 09:53 PM »

###################################################################################
The following community guidelines are liable to change at any point in time.

These community guidelines are considered to be an informal agreement between you,
the turns-all-year.com member or viewer and the rest of the TAY community itself.
It is not considered to be legally binding in any way.
###################################################################################

§1
TAY is first and foremost a community resource.

§2
Libelous, malicious or attacking posts will not be tolerated, and may be be deleted without warning.
Your TAY account may also be deleted without warning if you continue to make libelous, malicious, or attacking posts.
Excessive or highly repetitive "ranting" or "venting" post will not be tolerated and may be deleted without notice.
As a member of this community you agree to post relevant topics.
As much as possible, your topics should be backed by facts, photographs or URL's where additional information can be found.
Excessive posting on similar topics, or excessively "calling out" others in this community are actions that are likely to have your posts or your membership deleted.

§3
As TAY is a community resource, it does not exist to cater to any one group of backcountry users.
All backcountry users are welcome to register and post here, but they must be conscious of where they are posting:

TAY's primary focus is knowledge exchange for human-powered backcountry users.
-Where "human-powered" is someone who under the power of their own two legs typically skins, climbs, hikes, or walks from the base of a mountainous environment,
to a higher elevation in that environment.

§4
TAY may have commercial sponsors, but it does not give special favor to any commercial interests, whether a sponsor or not.
If you represent a commercial interest and you are unhappy with what TAY members post here, then it is your responsibility to make things right with those TAY community members,
or reach out to them directly. TAY is run by un-paid volunteers. These volunteers donate their personal time to make sure that YOU, "The Community",
are being civil with each other, creating relevant topics, and staying on topic. Please make it easy for us, and be respectful to the moderators.
The TAY admins and moderators do not have the time or resources to read every single post from every single member.
We would rather be skiing or snowboarding.

§5
It is your responsibility as a member to report posts that you think might be in violation of this community guidelines document.
Use the "report to moderator" feature, which is located at the bottom right corner of every post.
Your report does not guarantee that an action will be taken, but that a consideration will be made.
The last thing the TAY community or administrators want to do is delete posts and/or ban folks from this community.

§6 Other Documents
By reading these guidelines, you acknowledge that you have read the following pages written by the original founder of Turns-All-Year.com:
