June 5, 2003, Alpental

Decided to ski around Alpental this morning. Made the parking lot before 6am and was hiking shortly thereafter...No snow below the top of Sessel. But above that the continuous snow begins shortly. Decided to boot all the way up lower nash and upper nash. Was super fast. Way faster than going around by the bottom of chair 2.
Made the top of International at 7:30. Had outstanding turns down international. ~800' from the top to the entrance of Snakedance. Snow was in great shape. 20 minute boot back to the top from the top of Snakedance. made three laps with the last being about 1500 vertical feet down to the last of the snow. Saw three guys just starting the hike up as I was heading towards the car.....They must have baked!
Back to the car around 10:00. Super fast morning, but some excellent turns..
