Slush Cup: Important Info! Please Read was created by JW
Attn: anyone who plans on going to the Pinnacle Glacier area this Sunday needs to know the following
· Stay on the trail, access the snowfield from the top near the saddle and leave the same way(see map below)
· Leave no trace that you were there (except ski tracks)
· If you happen to sit around for any reason make sure it is on snow or rock and there is no soil or plant life under you.
If we fail in anyway to be sensitive to these issues it will certainly mean an end to future pond skimming type of activities and nobody wants that. Thanks and we will see you Sunday!

Great point, Jer.
With the numbers that are being attracted to this event we all need to be particularly careful not to harm the resources that we all enjoy so much.
Thankfully the barrier of entry is not without a price to pay (in terms of access effort) so the type of folks that would be oblivious to meadow stomping would probably not pay the price. That price is quite nominal for the typical bc skier, hoever, most of which are all for preserving the resources. I predict these folks are the ones that will be most vigilant of such concerns.

Anyone want to climb Pinnacle Peak while we are up there? Beckey says it's "scrambling".
