My brothers and I hiked up around Table Mt. Saturday hoping for some fun in the sun slushy turns. Instead we found cool mist (we lucked out with the rain which started just after we loaded the car) and hard suncupped snow. The heat last week really hit the area hard, melting out the best shots off Table down to narrow chutes which were much too dangerous given the hard bumpy snow. The road is plowed to Artist's Point, but is still gated because they haven't cleared parking.

Joe insisted on climbing high on the shoulder of Table Mt. to get a steep shot, and managed to make a few turns that you could see, but for the most part we kept to the easy slopes on the way down and only dropped a few hundred feet before discontinuous snow had us pack em up.

A nice walk in the mist, which kept most of the crowds down at the parking lot, but not worth it for the skiing.
wow, looks like quite a substantial melt-down compared to just 2 weeks ago.

do you think that is still possible to ski up to Mt. Baker?

I'm sure you could link snowfields and make it to Mt. Baker from Table Mt., but given the conditions we found I wouldn't want to.
