Eric, Greg, and I had a good day on the Squak. Got involved in some bush wacking fun when we lost the Scott Paul trail (first time trying that route) but it all worked out in the end. We took an easy pace, so were on top around 3 with clouds blowing in and out, but it cleared enough for a good run. The with very few down to the trail (had to keep reminding ourselves "this is fun and we're having it" at that point). We finished up with good chow at Tacos Guaymas in Burlington (little place, left at the light just before you turn to I5) - quick, fresh, good prices and quality.
. The lower glacier was in excellent shape, firm up high, mushy down low (as usual), but all good <a href=){kind=link}
Nice pics! The river crossings in that area can be QUITE sketchy, eh?
