Spent the weekend dodging snow showers on Hurricane Ridge. From the visitors center the wife and I spotted some turns off the Obstruction Point road. After a short drive and some road/snow hiking we found a slope with some corny turns on it. Further exploration toward OP gave us our own freshee paradise! We spent some time making laps and watching marmots.... man those things can RUN!
No photos...forgot camera batteries.
Well worth the extra time to drive/hike out.... there is not really anything left at Hurricane Ridge although we didn't explore out the "hill" toward the picnic area.
