We had intended to try Ruth/Interglacier on Rainier, but the weather sent us to the Eastside again. Booted from the Emeralda TH (4300') at the end of the NF Teanaway River Road to 5300'  before we started skinning (snowline is about 1500 vf higher here than at Snoqualmie Pass). Climbed W slope of 'Fortune' to top and took a 1200 vf run towards Stuart. Re-climbed and skied out via S bowl. Mostly very nice, as was the weather. Another bonus: No black goo on the ski bases unlike yesterday at Snoqualmie. Two other parties of 2 on skis, but they were on S. Ingalls. This is probably the last weekend for NF Teanaway (lots of snowmelt in last two weeks and warm weather coming). 4000 vf, 7 miles.
