Slogged through mud, over and under trees and devils club for a nice night of camping at the foot of the park-boulder cleaver. At least the famous swampy meadow (or meadowy swamp) still was covered with snow. And I was able to bypass the scramble on the way down, by skiing onto the boulder and traversing under the cliffs. But all and all, a very unpleasant, wet and foggy weekend. It snowed a good 6 inches and the gwanch underneath remained....well...gwanch. Decided to stay in bed instead of climbing through fog, snow, and bogus avy conditions. Made a few turns above camp on Saturday night for a minor gwanch fest.

The ridge above the scramble was most rivuletted, but once on the glacier things were smooth. If good weather comes, there could be good skiing there next weekend.
We had a trip planned the previous weekend which was weathered out too.  Boo Hoo.  The sun will return!
