Skied up to the Hogsback (10,400') on Friday and this is what we found; A SKUNK! The poor animal looked pretty scruffy and a little too friendly. When he got to within a ski pole's length, I screamed, he reared up and we scrambled to divert his attention with some bagel. We quickly got our skis back on and got the hell out of there. Just what is the firing range of these creatures?
We had a great ski all the way back to the car. Some brave person should trap the beast and return him to back to the woods. His brain must be pretty muddled breathing all that sulphur.

Hmm... Sulphur fumes and a shunk. Maybe he wasn't lost. Maybe he just made it to Shunk Heaven. ;)
