After a few failed attempts this spring, it was time to actually get to the top of something! We got to a full parking lot at 7am and started up. Things were rather toasty until around 9,000 as we got onto the rib to the left of the roman wall where the wind started blasting. Got to the top around 2 to a stiff breeze and not toooo many people. After a quick jaunt over to the summit, we headed down. Turns out, the wind kept the roman wall cool just long enough for us to enjoy creamy goodness in the mid afternoon!
It was nice meeting you up there Eli (on the trail at least). Glad that you had fun. It was a great day!
