After 35 days of perfect weather, we got hit by a storm just as Fabien and I had planned to do some touring in the Bernese Oberland. We still went and enjoyed a couple of great days in the fog. just the train ride below the North face of Eiger was worth it though.
Lucklily the weather improved again later in the week and we were able to do another outing - this time in the sun in the "glarner alps". Many of the major passes are already open now, much earlier than usual...

Nice pics Michael and thanks for the update on your trip. Glad you got a few good days after the change in weather. Had heard a bit from Magali on how it was going there with Fabien. Hope to see you while you're back in Seattle!

rad pics, michael! speaking of chains, i wouldn't be surprised if you guys lugged that thing up there yourselves, just for exercise. ;) glad you weren't trapped in the fog the whole time!
