Conditions were good in great scott bowl today. 3 inches new on top of hardened mank. What could be better? Occasional sunbreaks were also pleasant. Perfect snowball snow. Many naturally triggered snowballs.
Interestingly the west side of pineapple pass had a good foot of gwanch underneath the new snow. And of course conditions below great scott bowl were also softer. Below source lake, things were quite sticky. The trip back to the parking lot involved much skating, poling, and gnashing of teeth.
