Group of 7. We skied in fresh snow from Paradise on the road, skiable again with 2" on pavement at 10 AM, went up Mazama Ridge just beyond stone bridge. ÊAbout 3" of fresh powder on a icy solid base, with ice and packed snow under the trees. ÊWe were aiming for Cowlitz Rocks, but clouds came in, with very flat light, so with no great views to be had, we stopped near the Van Trump Memorial and yo-yo'd the back bowl there. Ê6" of fresh snow in the bowl, getting progressively heavier but lots of fun. Not slidey. Up to a foot on the face of Mazama Ridge on the run back down. Started snowing around 12N and was still snowing all the way to ÊAshford at 5 PM on the way out. A nice late winter day in May.
