Beautiful evening up on Mt. Pilchuck. Drove to within .5 miles of the trailhead. Cool and cloudy on top, crust formed over the few inches of new snow made skiing a bit of a challenge. Here is a panorama from the summit.

It looks like the meadow where the old double chair was.
Very close to the P-lot.

Yes, the brown area past the snowfield at the bottom center of the picture is the parking lot. There is still some snow there, and on the road leading up, but it should melt out in the next couple weeks.
