April 15, Tour De Hyak: A Taxing day?

The Tour De Hyak is always short and sweet. However, it does provide time to get up and back early enough to be home for a late breakfast!
In the parking lot by 6:45 AM, and on skis by 7. Up in a 1/2 hour, and then down on 3" of very nice light snow (The tax return!), on top of some just-firm-enough refreeze to make it all smiley! Home to Edmonds by 9 AM, using "Back In Black" as peaceful pre-breakfast tunes. Still a nice snowpack there for mid-April, I must say...
