April 9, sh*t for brains couloir, Grizzly peak

had a great morning out in summit county co. I started up a skin track just outside of the a-basin ski area, there was about a foot 1/2 of new washingtonesk snow over a pretty solid curst for the most part (at least in summit county) the skin track ended 3/4 the way up,,, soon i put the skiis on the backpak, and booted up the ridge, I expected an easy ridge hike, but there was some intracate/semi exposed scrambeling involved to access the couloir. The couloir itself was a bueaty, ~45dg , a foot of untracked fresh snow 1500ft of narrow couloir, although i did hit a few shark fins buried just under the surface... thats expected in colorado though.
