Decided on a solo trek up to tie in rock as a result of extreme boredom with other "solo friendly zones".  Left Tilly Jane round 7:30 arrived at tie in rock at 11:30.  Snow conditions on the trail from tilly jane snopark to the cabin ranged from crappy to rather crappy, with the occasional hardpack mud granular with bits and pieces of pine tree. SWEET START! By the time I reached the tilly jane cabin the snow improved a little for about a half mile and then drastically changed to some of the worst "snow" I have ever ridden.  Wind and rain scoured ice and dirt ice scattered amongst tails of dragonskin eurotrash powder stash.  There was some good snow in the gullys between the trees, about 150 yards long.  Although the snow was difficult, the views were outstanding,a brilliant blue sky reigned supreme as breaths of wizard smoke and magic mist rose up to valhalla, as if the valkyries were carrying off a departing winter. KILL WITH POWER! Here's some photos; 3 inches of dirt on top of 1 foot of snow, cooper spur and north side hood:
Thanks for the honest and enjoyable report.  ;)
