About the Same as the report for May 3rd except no crowds.Started at Climber's biviouc ,still 2-3 ft there and still only that one bare spot in a fun trail ski. Morning sun was warming snow up but clouded over and crust became icy. Some unconsolidated under crust and bears watching on Sunny days. More determined of our group gave it up around 6800'. A group of young well equipped snowboard mountaineers from MT baker area made the summit. We consoled ourselves with some lower skiing and lower trail skiing.
