ventured out to the kendall lakes area with low expectations and ended up having a very enjoyable day...nothing to write home about, but can't really complain either...1"+ of new snow on an hard, icy layer with snow falling throughout the day....explored around the middle lake a little bit and there was quite a bit of melting and some water visible...hoped for some softer conditions under the trees, but that wasn't the case...did two runs short runs of about 800' sticking to mostly lower angle aspects...back down the road to gold creek with a total trip time of about 5 hours
