March 22, 2007, Crystal Mtn

Thursday - Pretty decent Spring day at Crystal.   

Morning was cold, groomers were crisp, but not quite frozen. Off groom, what looked like a little pow was really a little thick and was lumpy underneath.  So It was a groomer morning, great for the carvers.  Good filtered sunlight made for a fun morning.  After lunch we got a shot of full sun, which softened up everything.  Bear Pits then seemed a little busy.

The foot of Sunday/Monday dump was settled to about five inches. 

There was a lot of weather moving in and out all day.  There was no mush line until the end of the day at the base which finally got sticky.  Near closing time, skied the last two runs in incredibly dense fog, fortunately we were on Queens which I pretty much know by touch.

It's Spring and things change every day.    Today things changed by the hour. However, we lucked out and everyone got to make their runs.
