Phil and I snuck up the gully on the northeast side of McClellan Butte this morning.  We found high clouds, nice views, mostly no rain, and a fun line.  The gully was filled with saturated debris that allowed us to skin almost to the top.  The snow was sluffy below the summit crag, then very sticky down the gully.  Fun water skiing on the apron and a quick glide to the car, complete with a couple good spots to give an extra cure to the rock skis on the road, finished the run.

This 3,000' line from exit 38 makes a really nice half-day from Seattle.

I've always liked that line. Way to get after it.

Yeah, I'm always coveting that line every time I pass it, too.
Nice to see that Martin isn't the only one that skis it.

I like how "saturated debris" is an asset on this trip  ;)

I think it gets skied a bit. It's pretty recognizable. I know I skied it years ago, just because I saw it off the road, and thought "Man that looks like fun."
