Well, anything said will be irrelevant after the rains. I snuck in a round trip from Summit Central to lower Silver Peak basin via nordic/windy pass both ways. Started a bit before 7, and it was drizzling at noon on my return. Coverage is (was) awesome. I discovered an aging, yellow sign that says "mill creek" that I had never seen before along the nordic pass route. The snow was slurpy slush even before the rain.
