Monday - Good...... very good.

There was everything any skier would want.  Fresh deep snow, nice weather.  It was cold and fresh.   Groomers were corn row.  Some slopes like extererminator are pretty bumped out... but with the good snow... ok.  Lower CMAC seriously bumped... sometimes they groom it.

One thing is that all the chairs had problems today.  I just don't know.  Green Valley chair had such a problem that lots of people had Kelly's Gap route chosen for them.  Chair six got a rush of business as GV was effectively closed for a while.

High clouds with clouds/fog drifting through.  Sun came out about 11:30  to 2:00... very nice to ski in the sun with snow coming down.  Weather moved in at 2:30, dumping lots of new pow.  Got whited out several times.  After that heavy 2:30 dump the snow so frigging white that I just about lost it in some of the bowl effect areas.

I skied some deep pockets and bumjps until my legs got tired.  Finished up with an 'Exterminator' drink at the Snorting Elk with my group.  No friends on powder day... we can make it up after the lifts close, except of course one should ski with a partner.

I was going to write a very short report... like "It was good", because it's been like this for several days and will be good for a while.
