2/17 Crystal Lakes, Shepards Chute, Morse Creek

I wanted to stay away from the weekend crowd so I went up the chairs with the lift Ops at 8 got 5 runs on perfect corduroy on queens before the public then hiked out to Boxcar around 9:30 and dropped to Crystal Lakes top 100 Feet was Okay then nasty crusty until 100 feet before Crystal Lakes then the sun softened it nice Next was out to Sheep lake which I decided to make it up to the Shepard Chute which was sick top to bottom. Then after that was through Sourdough gap back to Morris which the top was nice until the flats of the valley then followed a drainage to Gun Barrel which was by far the worst run of the day ended the tour at 4: 15.. A great tour with good visabilty but we could really use some New snow
