Quick hike to 6400ft gunsight bowl, rain crust trail slick and hard, bowl skiing was better but like skiing on hardpack, at least not breakable crust. snow on all the trees was rained off but at about 6100ft they were snow covered and looking up to the 7000 ft peak the trees were still well covered with snow so probably better skiing up higher.
