WA Snoqualmie Pass

Had a chance to get up to WA again, so did a counter-clockwise run around Chair. Conditions were really good for traveling fast. In the soup until above Source Lake where it cleared out nicely and turned real pretty. Was not digging the breakable crust that we knew we would be skiing later in the day, but it turned out to not be so bad at all.
The ski down to Snow Lake was nice. There is a bunch of avy debris in the gully down to the left. We encountered wind slab forming on the new snow on NE-SE aspects, about 2-3" in places but nothing bad. Melakwa pass was pretty straightforward. Went over Bryant col and skied the Bryant couloir (I guess this is what it's called?) pretty fun. Then it was back into the soup at Source Lake and out into wally world giving a few snowshoers some heart attacks as we gunned it out of there. A much shorter tour than we were expecting. Good to be back.

That's a fun one, even better if you add the descent off the summit of Kaleetan. Oh yeah.
Think Scott and I met you guys on the ridge? .... We left the ridge a few minutes before, and then skied down to Snow Lake. We skated east across the lake, and then up to Observation Rock (not sure if that's the official name), then the fun began. We thought it would be a straightforward ski down, but with difficult visible conditions due to fog, and no map (we "knew" the way out- ha), we ended up over 2 definite no-fall areas- :'( Yikes.
