Hit alpental this morning. Snowing at the exit, raining below. A couple inches new on the slopes. Groomers on debbie's gold were fun with 2 inches catchy new on top. Kind of icy/bumpy on chair 2. But then the sun came out, and softened the ice up a bit and then was pretty fun in edelweiss bowl. Pretty good in nash as well...given what it was.

Also got my official backcountry card from the patrol. They were quite nice and it didn't take long. Had a few nice turns on knoll 2 where it was smooth underneath. Mainly a lot of bumpiness though. Below the trash can it became breakable crust. Oh joy.
