Along with numerous others, we skied Mt St Helens on Sunday. We found amazing spring-like conditions. This was the best snow I've had on the four times I have skied St Helens. The night prior we were concerned the snow might not soften based on the strong winds in Portland and on Mt Hood at the time, but on Sunday the wind was mostly absent on St Helens and it was perfect. There were a lot of smiles.

If this dry (!!!) weather continues, St Helens should be in again next weekend.
PS: We were reprimanded by the slednecks for parking in the upper lot. They are requesting cars w/o trailers do not park in the upper lot.

How did you let that happen Jeff?? ::) A skier getting scolded by a sledneck. ??? Never thought I'd hear that. :-[ That's like me lecturing people for ducking ropes, not that I ever would. ;D
