WA Cascades West Slopes South (Mt Rainier)

2-6" of pretty light powder on the lee side of the ridges (East, Northeast facing slopes). The windward side was scoured down to the hard stuff. Slopes were fracturing really bad up top where there was heavy wind loading but there wasn't really enough new snow yet to cause any problems. Watch out once we get a bit more snow. Overall, a suprisingly good day with Rainier visible for most of the day. Only four other people were spotted up there.
