Fresh, billowy medium-weight new snow blew past my knees all day while cruising silently down through trees and glades. John and I skied the NE-facing slope at the end of the road, before one reaches "Steep & Icy". Heard third-hand of a Rutschblock test which failed only in the upper 6 inches. - 5 to -2C all day, lots of new falling as we skied out at 4:30pm. The snow we skied today was totally unaffected by wind. Snow was falling all the way down to the upper reaches of Port Angeles.
