temps have been really warm in colo, springlike snow down low on the south aspects, pretty stable up high too, definatly found some sketchy windslabs, and depth hoar ,, should have brought my skins, from I-70, they didnt really look nessecary, first time this season i had to do "the crawl",, the snow was pretty good wind affected crust/pow on surface with patchy areas of crust, and windpack, I eye that line everytime im headed westbound on i-70 , was really satisfiying to ski it, the facects are dominating the snowpack here,, wont take a whole lot of new snow to skyrocket the avi danger,,
