Well I've had two epic days this year. The first was the bad kind of epic at Baker on Sunday.
Today at Crystal was the good kind of epic! ;D
I found about 10 inches of low density pow on top of 35 inches of dense snow...
The bad news for all those saying that the next Pineapple will help the snowpack is that it is/was already in great shape!
The weather forecast does look better than when I left this morning, especially at the passes.
Everybody skiing today was skiing the ski area runs. The patrollers had it good, as the lifts were running and they were working AND playing ;-)

that statement always annoys me. How often is it that we really need a pineapple express to help our snowpack?
