Went up to Paul's Ridge to check out the conditions. It was snowing all day quite heavily. Once out of the forest it was windy as well. Up to 120 cm (50 in) of fresh bottomless snow, almost impossible to pick up speed for turns or get up after falling. More quicksand feeling than powder skiing.
Skiing from the Red Heather warming hut (stocked with wood, stove unlocked, propane range working) back to the parking lot was, however, awesome. Lots of fun, fast track with 50 cm (20 in) soft snow banks for easy slowing down.

The road was plowed with snow/mud cover for the last kilometer. 4WD an advantage but there were 2WD cars in the parking lot.
