Lovely day, 6 inches of new over a well-consolidated base. Did hear a whump on the N side of Hurricane Hill. Scratched my new Tuas on the hill below the lodge -- boo hoo. Just a lovely day with Kenny Zeigler putting squiggles all over the backcountry. LOTS of firstrax opportunities out here -- we only saw a couple of other tele skiers. We stayed mostly on N exposures. The hill below the lodge started out wonderful, but ended up crusty. There's still plenty of untracked snow out in the bowl under Hurricane Hill.

Hey...no fair! You drag me out into a nasty storm and I just about catch hypothermia, then you go home and have a great day in the Olympics. But really, I'm glad to hear that conditions have improved.
Yeah, the difference between Friday and Saturday was astonishing. Saturday was as good as Friday was bad.
