August 6, 2006, Snowdome, Mt Hood

I apologize for the tardiness of this report. We skied Snowdome a few weeks ago. We turned around 3/4 of the way from the top because of crevasses and awkward skinning. The turns were good, and the suncups aren't bad. There is no bridge over Eliot creek, and the USFS has rerouted the Eliot crossing higher up where's there's a few large rocks to cross on. The Langille bowls looked finished, so we exited by scrambling to the edge of the Eliot and
