Another beautiful day, 1.5hr from Artist Point along the trail toward Sholes Glacier to a 600' snow patch, little changed from last week.  We yoyoed it three time in fog that kept temperatures more comfortable.  Then hiked further along the trail looking for the goats who inhabit the southeast facing slopes below Coleman Pinnacle.  After we found twelve for our young Colorado guest, we hiked back to the skis and followed continuous snow to a flat area just below the Ptarmigan ridge crossover.  Weather began clearing and views improved after noon.
Sorry I missed this weekend's trip Silas, I didn't get your message until Sat night.
Looks like you had a good time and hopefully avoided the hike we did last week. :D

What, Silas?  No layers of skiers throughout every instant of a delcious corn-devouring turn?  No animations?

Words alone can't express my disappointment.

;)  (It'll take smileys.)

Nice work Silas!
But, what's with the fog you keep getting? ;)
