Skied the Finger today.  I'm calling it done for skiing for the year.  Large suncups, rocks (both on the ground and in the air), and a waterfall at the constriction.  The big advantage is that it is really dirty, so your tracks show up really well from Paradise and you can direct the touristas to them.

The upper Nisqually is still a nice run, but there are some whoppers to cross up there.  Ski fast, think light.  Climber's left side is a no-go now.

Enjoy!

Nice job Iain! The Fuhrer looked pretty nutty 9 days ago, so you definitely get some extra points here.

Iain,  Jill and I arrived at Paradise late on Saturday and when we looked out the window of our campervan on Sunday morning we saw you tracks.  Nice lines.  Zap

Cool trip.   First time I've bothered with Rainier.
Maybe should have bothered a week or two earlier.
Despite some lost Ptex still had a lot of fun.

More pics here.

Nice work still skiing this route this late in the year!

Cool pictures - the sunrise on that cloud layer is really beautiful...
