Got a real late start at arrived at the ski area parking lot around 2:30pm. The conditions are still very pretty much the same as what was described on June 12th. The road is still closed at the upper lodge and covered with 4-5 ft of snow. I hiked up to Austin Pass (which is still COMPLETELY covered) and took a couple laps in the vicinity of the Blueberry chutes.

The snow was soft but still bootable and getting suncupped (even on the steeper slopes). I have some photos from Austin looking south but I'll have to add that tomorrow. The photos from the 12th still seem to be accurate but the creek and Bagley lake are starting to make their appearance.

On the drive up, just past the weather station below the upper ski area, there was a nice sized black bear hanging out on the side of the road. He/she seemed to be unfazed by the vehicle traffic which was slowing down to check him/her out..
