Jen, Dan and I left town Thursday evening for a shot at the Sulfide Glacier. The large sucker hole over us at the trail head Friday morning would be the last of the dry weather  ::)  This short clip probably tells it best

Really great video!   Thanks for sharing.   Reminds me of a recent camp at Sparks Lake in OR

Oh yes, good times ;)  Thanks for the video report.

Great to see you're getting out though.  And good to see Jen too.  My Jen and I say "hi!"

Bummer JW; hope that map was still useful in the fog  :)

Nooksack Tower

Just an observation, but that's actually not Nooksack Tower, but Jagged Ridge with Cloudcap Peak on the far right.  Nooksack Tower is out of the frame way left, maybe not even in view from this vantage point.

"Attempt @ Shuksan", a heart wrenching story of three backcoutry travelers on a journey hell bent on making their Gore-Tex leak...2 thumbs WAY up!

hi altasnob,

for the summit pyramid, is there enough snow to boot up it? i couldn't quite make that out from your pic. we're heading there this weekend and wondering if summitting in ski boots is an option. oh and while i'm at it, was there much ice? if we had to place pro for the steeper section, would screws be more useful than pickets?

much obliged,

sorry bout rain, looks like you had good time anyway - as always, we should all quit jobs so can ski any day we want ;)
