« on: 06/20/06, 09:08 PM »

Jen, Dan and I left town Thursday evening for a shot at the Sulfide Glacier. The large sucker hole over us at the trail head Friday morning would be the last of the dry weather  Roll Eyes  This short clip probably tells it best Attempt@Shuksan
BTW continuous snow begins about 4200'.....Jerry

Great to see you're getting out though.  And good to see Jen too.  My Jen and I say "hi!"

Nooksack Tower

Just an observation, but that's actually not Nooksack Tower, but Jagged Ridge with Cloudcap Peak on the far right.  Nooksack Tower is out of the frame way left, maybe not even in view from this vantage point.

hi altasnob,

for the summit pyramid, is there enough snow to boot up it? i couldn't quite make that out from your pic. we're heading there this weekend and wondering if summitting in ski boots is an option. oh and while i'm at it, was there much ice? if we had to place pro for the steeper section, would screws be more useful than pickets?

much obliged,
