Visting Portland area Friday and Saturday, I had some free time this morning to check out Timberline. Report said 7" new overnight after rain yesterday. Found fairly breezy conditions had caused wind affect on top of hard base, sun was in and out. I skinned up to Wilcox Hut, by the time I arrived the left (west) side of my parka was coated with rime. A run back down to the car was enough for me. Hope to find better conditions back home tomorrow.
