Left Paradise parking lot at 7 am. Only 4 other cars. Is the gas price getting too people? Hit 30mph cross winds on Panorama Point. Tons of snow on the walk up. Looks like there will be some good skiing for a while.
Decided to do a variation of the Muir. Dropped the pack and scrambled up the chute facing south. Good snow conditions made for some great turns. Some variable wind blown crust and icy snow made for interesting turns.
A few skiiers and boarders. Even fewer climbers. Seemed deserted.
