Got a late start (waiting for the kids), left Paradise at 11-11:30 after a slow heavy snow drive up (no plowing that morning!) broke trail to Mazama & to the back bowl; down I went turning in knee deep to waist deep powder; hard work; both Regine and Peter got to fall in the stuff; Kirstin made it down.  Then breaking trail back up following ski tracks; headed to the front of Mazama, where my 240 lbs on 185 cm 94-70-84 were a challenge; fell twice.  Second run down a steeper slope was nice with linked tele turns at 2 mph, waist deep. Then breaking trail back to Paradise; I think we got 10 inches while we were there. Need new skis like Ron, or better yet, like Jeanette. abc
Andy . Your trail report sounds like you were on Valium!
" linked turns at 2mph".   Shoot,  at least you got to ski !
Happy New year ski to yas!

Thanks, Andy.  Glad to hear we're gettin more snow up there.
Get some different boots and you can take a couple of runs on my fatties!  ;D
