This trip is so mellow it may not belong here, but the snow was interesting and better than I expected. The 2300' parking lot was at 33 F and had a light dusting at 7:30AM. At the high point of the road system (maybe 4300') there was 4-5" of very fresh, very wet high density snow. I was worried that I would not be able to glide down, but digging snow out of the fishscales, and "Maxiglide" from a friendly skier, made it OK. 37 F and raining at the car at 11AM. There are 2-3' ft. of snow at 2300' covering the road.
