A day of mixed sun and snow. The fresh snow on top of crust made the skiing more enjoyable. The upper clearcuts were most enjoyable with the crust firmly frozen underneath and a topping of about 5 inches of medium weight fresh snow. Lower down the crust wasn't as firm and provided more challenging skiing conditions. Nearing the parking lot in the late afternoon -- slushy conditions started to appear.
