Jill and I arrived at Crystal and the parking lots were not as crowded as Friday. Climbed along the Quicksilver lift and the race team was just taking a break so there were fewer skiers flying by us. The trail into Silver Basin was well beaten. As we approached the lake, the first skiers started descending from the back of "The King". We split into 3 Way Basin and started working the powder. High overcast and a light snow shower with zero wind made conditions ideal. Had a great run down "Speed Control" in light powder. Climbed up to the ridge at 3 Way Peak and could see the tracks from the downhill skiers below The King. 3 Way Peak is inaccessible to the ski area crowd so we enjoyed the powder by ourselves. It was Jill's first day and her grin was priceless. We left some lines. ;)
Good info, Zap. Thanks.
Did you see any signs on instability in the snow along the ridge between 3 way and bear gap?

Ron, we noticed a couple of small sloughs, probably a few days old. We skied some steep pitches and nothing moved.
