Silas, Andrew and I found much better snow here than at Alpental yesterday. We found good powder on most aspects in the bowl on the north side of the ridge. We had the whole place to ourselves (!) although there were several tracks from previous days. The snow was good, but the pickings were slim - this area needs more coverage. Right now there's about 3 feet.
The south-facing descent to the parking lot, though it had been hit by wind, was enjoyable skiing. The sun came out in the afternoon, and the late day light was beautiful.
