Crystal 03/03 Another Bonus Day

Short Report - Yee Haa! Primo!

Wordy Report - Arrived typically early to a very quiet Crystal Mountain and it was very
quiet all day. No lift lines, nobody on the slopes, empty lodges, great early groomers (LS
and MIFB anyway). Couple new with some wind smoothing made for perfect Hamster conditions.
Early untracked lines in GV bowl, SunnySide!, Bearpits and by far the best PB! PB was worth
many repeats, were as other southish facing slopes were all one and done conditions - lots
of snowballs and pinwheels rolling down the slopes - if it freezes solid tonight tomorrow
will be a groomer or northfacing slopes kinda day.  Big sun all day, almost warmish which
is again not good for lower or south facing slopes (maybe even some of the northish facing
like GV Bowl). Never had a lift line, never rode a lift with anyone other than the first
bucket ride this morning and a number of runs with #1. Mountain was empty! Great day, glad
I got out of bed this morning and ignored some of the forecasts and rain in the lowlands.

Other - Soup at CB lodge was sausage Jambalaya(?), lots of self serve sausage, pizza looked
marginal today and #1 had a problem finding anything she could eat.  Pay lot was new normal
big and equally big and empty when we left, Carpool lot half full, nobody in C lot, some
cars in B (employees mostly?)  Drive up and down was at speed with lots of Elk sightings
this morning and even a couple on the drive down. Only driving nasty is all the dump
trucks pretty much everywhere going everywhere in every direction - worst being the jerk
that yanked out at the last minute in front of us just before Enumclaw, slam on the breaks
and get dirt and gravel flung at us till I finally got to pass him.
